THE GREAT GAS HOPE

Sure, we like to gab about saving fuel, especially with all this talk about crossovers that will one day wean us off the gas hogs -- but unlike the pretenders, the 2005 Dodge Magnum is an actual step in the fuel-saving direction. An automotive nicotine patch, if you will.
At 21-28 miles per gallon it won't save the world, but it's a nice start; especially as the 2005 Dodge Magnum offers the same off-road capability and cargo capacity you'll find in most mid-size SUVs. (Even with a larger engine you could log 25 miles per gallon cruising at 60 down the highway.) Check out this relative gas-sipper in photos, specs, reviews -- and if you're ready to rumble, financing info too.
