2008 Dodge Magnum

The 2008 Dodge Magnum received some minor but well-deserved improvements for the new year’s model lineup, as well as marks the final year for the development of the Magnum.

The final Magnum comes with a restyled exterior and interior, including more sporty headlights, a new hood scoop on the SRT-8 edition, an aggressive-looking grille and a new red paint scheme is being offered as well.

Drivers have the option of owning the last SRT-8 425HP Magnum in production as well as choosing from the other engine choices that range from 2.7L up to 5.3L.

Gas mileage has remained the same, as high as 28MPG on the highway for the base model 2008 Dodge Magnum providing performance and efficiency for every demanding driver. Power is put to the rear-wheels or optionally all four wheels via a 4-speed and 5-speed automatic transmission.


2007 Dodge Magnum

The 2007 Dodge Magnum holds true to its past by providing drivers with high-performance as well as economical and efficient driving experiences. This year’s Magnum has retained much of the same designs that have made it such a great sport station wagon.

Engine sizes and mileage:

  • 2.7L V-6 with 190HP and 190FTLB of torque; EPA-estimated 21mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway

  • 3.5L V-6 High-Output producing 250HP and 250FTLB of torque; EPA-estimated 19mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway

  • 5.7L HEMI V-8 with 340HP and 390FTLB of torque; EPA-estimated 17mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway

  • 6.1L HEMI V-8 with 425HP and 420FTLB of torque; EPA-estimated 14mpg in the city and 20mpg on the highway

The 2007 Dodge Magnum come with the standard rear-wheel-drive platform and offers drivers the option of an upgraded All-Wheel-Drive mated with either a 4-speed or 5-speed automatic transmission.

2006 Dodge Magnum

The 2006 Dodge Magnum saw a major improvement to the model lineup this year with the addition of the performance-tuned SRT-8 model.

As with the other SRT-8 lineup of vehicles, this one features the famed 6.1L HEMI V-8 engine with an astounding 425HP and 420FTLB of torque. Power is routed to the Rear-Wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission sitting on 120” wheel-base tires.

The 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 is capable of a 0-60MPH time of 5.1 seconds, propelling the driver to 100MPH in just 11.7 seconds with a quarter-mile time of 13.1 seconds at 108MPH.

The new SRT-8 features upgraded suspension work, more powerful brakes and redesigned aerodynamics that help make the SRT-8 one of the most efficient and powerful new performance-tuned wagons available on the market today.

2005 Dodge Magnum

The 2005 Dodge Magnum is newly redesigned from the ground up for the 2005 model year, now coming in the form of a stylish station wagon. Engine sizes come in varying degrees, starting with the 2.7L V-6 producing 190HP, moving to the 3.5L V-6 with 250HP, than finishing with the 5.7L V-8 HEMI boasting 340HP under the hood.

The 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT and R/T models come with either a standard All-Wheel-Drive or Rear-Wheel-Drive powertrain mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission while the SE model bares a 4-speed automatic transmission with only a rear-wheel-drive powertrain.

The EPA has estimated the 2005 Dodge Magnum to attain at least 28MPG on the highway and 21MPG around the city.

The Dodge Magnum, in its new style, is poised to rise to the top of family wagons and even sedans with its powerful yet economical design and performance.
